Our minimum age is four months
Little Viper accepts appointments from 4 months old. A parent or legal guardian must attend and bring the child’s Red Book.
Ear piercing can also be an important cultural, religious or family tradition. We welcome every family and are happy to discuss a particular requirement before you book.
For babies and infants
Parents make the decision on their child’s behalf. The important considerations are choosing an experienced professional, understanding the process and being prepared to follow the aftercare guidance consistently.
We use a separate sterile, single-use professional piercing needle for each ear and never use piercing guns.
For older children
An older child should be included in the conversation and willing to take part. Talk honestly about the quick sharp feeling, the need to sit still and the importance of looking after the piercings afterwards.
If they are very unsure, waiting is perfectly reasonable. We never force or rush a piercing and will pause if a child becomes too distressed.
